I have had no internet for the past week, so this blog post is pretty long, but so much fun. I have enjoyed every minute of the past week, and you’re about to hear all about it. Enjoy!

Exploring Banff and Area and found a beautiful waterfall; Bow Falls.

5km bike ride near Bow Falls. Dad sped ahead and we thought we would see him at the end…then all of a sudden he jumped out of the trees, yelling. We all screamed, peddled really fast or stopped. Once I realized it was dad I stopped, and started giggling, because it was quite funny-after your heart stopped racing. π

We did the laundry while dad went to a cafe and worked.

The Copple’s generously hosted us for the weekend and toured us around the area! Thank you so much!!!

Elfriede is an amazing cook!!!

That night we took the boat out fishing again, and Uncle Stephen had to show dad his dive off the high rocks that us ladies had been raving about for the past few days. Falling…

-
There was a baptism afterwards, of a couple, in the river.
-
-
A long exposure of a moon-lit mountain.

A bike ride that afternoon through the forest was lots of fun! I really enjoyed it as it ahd lots of curves throughout it.
-
-
Mom and I peered over the rocks, and it convinced me not to jump in… π

Where we met on Sunday morning.

-
The lovely group of people we met with!

I love the tunnels on the highway! To get the most out of traveling through tunnels, you open your windows, honk your horn, and TRY to hold your breath all of the way through! It’s SOOO much fun!!! π

We took the ferry over to my Uncle Stephen’s and Aunty Denise’s. It was short, smooth sailing. The bottom of the camper scraped quite badly on the way on, but getting off, thanks to my dads smartness, we manouevered off that thing like pros, and with no scraping!

The majestic Thompson Falls.
-
-
That afternoon we went tubing. It was beautiful! The water is a gorgeous colour, and when you swing out past the boat, it sometimes looks as though you are gliding on glass.
-
-
Heading to the waterfalls-on a very bumpy road- in the back of the truck.
-
-
Earlier in the evening we had taken the boat out again, this time with dad, so that he could try out the tube and fish. It got cold, so when we got home all of us jumped in the hot tub to warm up! π

Cassia and Lanaya playing with Kansas. They had great fun rolling around in the yard with her!

Uncle Stephen took us on a tour of their property the next morning. It was really interesting, as Uncle Stephen knows the names of all of the plants, and things!

They had their own private boat launch, so when we took the boat out of the water we all had to pile into the back of the truck, to try to pull the boat over the loose gravel.

The next day Dad took off work and Uncle Stephen took us up Idaho Peak, you could see for miles and miles!

Taking a break at the top of the mountain.

then diving. We all think it was pretty cool Uncle Stephen!!!
-
-
Then we blew a gasket, so had to use the electrical motor, which moves pretty slow. So us girls relaxed at the front on the boat wrapped in blankets, and Cassia fished.
-
-
Dad paddling, just to speed things up a bit. It worked quite well but when you only paddle on one side and the engine is weak you start heading towards shore pretty quick. π
-
-
Uncle Stephen steering us through the waves (which I forgot to mention) that seemed pretty big, from the front anyway… π

Thank you, Uncle Brian!!!
Thanks for the update Raquenna. I am curious though did you get in the tube behind the boat? βΊοΈ
Yes, I did… And I didn’t even fall out!?
Wow! Looks like you’re off to a great start! Looking forward to seeing where September will take you! Safe travels!
