My feet were aching, and my mind was overflowing. For three days we toured Washington-and every night we went to bed satisfied and exhausted!!! We saw the Lincoln memorial, and walked through a handful of the Smithsonians, and toured the House of Representatives, among a couple of other things! One of my favourite experiences was the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. It was amazing how the guards never smiled walking back and forth with everyone’s heads swinging back and forth watching them! Continue reading

Eight Months, Today!?

These past two and a half weeks we took a whole lot of photos on our camera-but we haven’t been staying in the camper!!! Which just means that there haven’t been any posts for over two weeks. But I didn’t mind seeing as I was sleeping in a nice comfy bed that had a ginormous bathroom connected to it! Bob and Becky invited us to stay with them, having never met before, but knowing a few of the same people, so we parked our camper in their driveway for two weeks! Now we are back on the road, with mixed emotions-we met some great people but we also have more stuff to see!??
